Why it works
- Raised bolster ring supports the natural curl position dogs and cats use when they feel safe — chin rest included
- Faux-fur surface replicates warmth and texture without trapping heat; breathes better than fleece in summer
- Non-slip base stays put on hardwood, tile, and most surfaces — no more bed sliding across the floor
- Machine-washable outer cover; inner cushion keeps its loft through repeated washes
- Measure your pet's nose-to-tail length and add 6 inches — that's the right bed diameter; size guide below
The full story
Dogs and cats sleep better when they feel enclosed. That's why they press against you on the couch, seek out corners, and choose a covered crate over an open mat. This bed works with that instinct — the raised bolster ring gives them a wall on every side, and the faux-fur surface provides warmth that feels like contact.
The bolster is firm enough to hold shape against leaning but soft enough to be comfortable as a pillow. Most dogs use it both ways in the same night — pressing against it while they settle, then resting their chin on it once they're out. Cats use the rim as a headrest and often curl so tightly into the well that their tail wraps around.
Sizing: measure your pet from nose to tail while they're curled up asleep. Add roughly 6 inches to that measurement — that's the right bed diameter. If your dog is between sizes, go up; the larger bed is always usable, the smaller one isn't. Our three sizes cover pets from about 10 lbs up to 75 lbs.
Owners who've just adopted rescue dogs consistently report faster settling and less nighttime pacing. It's also the most gifted item in our catalog — practically every new pet parent ends up with one within the first year.
